166-365:Burn Mother…Burn

How Albuquerque should look; photo taken on a hike this week. But lately we have been affected by the giant wildfire in eastern Arizona. Every night for the past 4 days around 5pm to 8pm Albuquerque is engorged with a thick smoke, which is a little  bit hard to believe that it is coming all the way from Arizona! It makes it a little bit annoying to go out and do anything because it basically feels like you are stuck in a giant cloud of campfire smoke which after a while burns your eyes and lungs.

Here is outside my apartment around 8pm a couple nights ago. I haven’t gotten a shot of the sun which turns red every night as it is setting, but I think I shall try tonight. Hopefully they get this fire under control soon…I hateee fire!

Beautiful beautiful beautiful day in Albuquerque! Never seen so many amazingly perfect clouds, too bad I was at work the whole day so I had to shoot while I was driving….

Thanks to switching my major last semester to photography, I will be taking a summer class this year. Not till June though.  This should be interesting.
